Accommodation
Giraffe plains is offering a furnished holiday home in the tranquil surroundings of Marloth Park. With a good glass african wine, you will enjoy the visit of zebra, giraffe and / or other animals. In the evening you can enjoy the African sounds and the romantic atmosphere in our boma. The house can accommodate up to 6 people.
In the fully equipped kitchen (toast grill, refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster etc.) you will find everything you need. The lounge has a TV with easy DStv viewing channels available.
The main bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed, wardrobe and air conditioning. The bedroom opens into a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A second bedroom on the ground floor is also equipped with a double bed, wardrobe and air conditioning. The separate bathroom is accessible to everyone and has a shower, sink and toilet.
On the upper floor - open gallery - are two single beds with wardrobes. On the other side is a cozy TV area with double sofa bed. Upstairs are several fans, which provide cooling in hot days.
Naturally, all beds are made and the linen is changed every 2 to 3 days. Bath and kitchen towels are provided and changed regularly.
On the spacious terrace on the ground floor is a nice seating. The splash pool is open all year and gives you an opportunity to cool off on hot days. There is a secure outdoor braai area with a lapa for outdoor dining.
The house is situated close to the river, and Hippo and Lion can be heard during the night from the Kruger Park side of the river. Walk less than 400 m to the river to view these animals and more during the day.

House service
A daily house service included. Our housekeeper Anton welcome you to Giraffe plains and he will try to make your vacation unforgettable.
In the morning Anton makes your beds, wash the dishes and keep the house and the pool clean. This allows you to enjoy your holidays without worries.
We would ask you to take care off following things when you go out or to bed:
* Putt all oil lamps out
* Extinguish the campfire with water (no sand)
* Please place the cushion inside
Terms of payment
After your booking you will receive a confirmation. A deposit of 50% of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking.
The remaining sum must be paid at least three weeks before arrival.
Once the full amount has been paid we will send you the map, driving directions and rules.
Cancellation
If cancelled up to 60 days before date of arrival, no fee wil be charged
If cancelled up to 29 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no show, 100 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
